A new coalition is coming together to support Maine’s growing aquaculture industry, aiming to clear up misconceptions and highlight the economic and environmental benefits of seafood farming.
The coalition—formed by FocusMaine, Coastal Enterprises, Island Institute, and World Wildlife Fund—is focused on educating the public and building trust in aquaculture as a sustainable and valuable part of Maine’s economy.
